Lavender and magnesium have known benefits to help you relax. You can find both ingredients in this body lotion from Posh. Not all kids like the smell of lavender so start with small amounts during the day to make sure your child tolerates the smell. Good for stressed-out parents too! You can find the product at my Posh store here:

Some websites cover all the information you need! Check out www.yourchild’ for details on eating milestones, picky eaters, food jags, and recipes for nutritious bedtime snacks. Free workshops too!

Does your child worry too much?

This is my favorite workbook to share with your child ages 8-12 who struggles with worries and fears. The author does a fantastic job of helping your child discover what worry is, what it looks like in their body, and what to do about it through practical strategies.

Most of my patients love the chapter on creating a ‘ Worry Bully’ and learning how to boss it back!

This workbook is best mastered together. Feel free to share with your child what you worried about as a kid too!

One of my favorite resources is the website, the Inspired Treehouse!

The authors are pediatric occupational and physical therapists who are dedicated to helping children overcome common developmental roadblocks using movement and sensory activities. The website offers information on developmental milestones, activities, and resources to help parents, therapists and educators advance the well being of the children they care about!

Plus, the authors are super generous in giving away content-filled blogs and ready-to use strategies to develop all aspects of your child from core strength to fine motor control.  They also offer paid options such as a Summer Activities Pack (only $4.99) with daily activities for promoting core strength, gross and fine motor skills and sensory fun!
